Terms of Service

Dumpling ("the Service") is operated by an individual proprietor based in India ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The Service schedules and executes backups of databases you control into storage you control. You are responsible for verifying that backups are restorable and for the security of the credentials you provide.
You must have the right to access every database and bucket you connect.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 3 months.
Paid plans are billed monthly through our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, which collects applicable taxes and processes payments. Refunds: your first payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of it, for any reason. Later payments are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time and access continues until the end of the paid period.
We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service (for example, attempting to reach networks you do not own).

What we store: your email address, database connection details, storage credentials (encrypted at rest), backup job settings, and run logs (timestamps, sizes, error messages).
What we do not store: your backup data. It streams from your database to your bucket and is never persisted by us.
Sub-processors: our hosting provider (server location: EU), Resend (transactional email) and Dodo Payments (billing). We do not sell data or use third-party analytics that track you across sites.
Deletion: deleting a database, storage or job removes its credentials from the live database immediately; encrypted nightly copies kept for disaster recovery expire within 7 days. Email us to delete your whole account.
